Hommali, properly pronounced Hom•ma•li is a Thai phrase that translates to "Thai Jasmine Rice". The name refers to the rice's color, which is as white as the jasmine flower. The word "hom" means fragrance, and "mali" means jasmine. Thai Hom Mali rice is a non-glutinous rice that is considered one of the world's most delicious and highest quality rice varieties. It is known for its soft texture, aroma, and cooking quality. The rice is often used in Thai dishes like stir-fries, soups, and with grilled, fried, or braised foods.
